Today I have a new card to share with you! I was so excited when I finished this card and with the way that it came together. I made this card for two very Special People who opened up their home to me while I was in Chicago shooting the Bow-it-All Video. Thank you again Ken and Judi! I wanted to surprise them with something special that I created because as you know my Motto is “Creativity comes from the Heart!” so I followed my Heart and let my hands create.
I created the card Base using my favorite Neenah Solar White Linen Coverstock and added 3 layers using some Black and Gray textured Cardstock from my stash, I believe they are from Bazzil. For the next layer I stamped the background using Justrite Papercraft’s Elegant Fronds Background Stamp using Memento’s Gray Flannel Ink Pad.
I created a frame using Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight #S5-148 Die#4 and cut out the center of the frame using the Labels Eight #S5-019 Die#5. I backed the frame using Spellbinders Basic Lattice Die #S5-152. I added the sentiment “Heartfelt Thanks” from Justrite Papercraft’s stamp set Just Because Vintage Labels and used one of the scroll frame stamps from this set around the sentiment. I cut a frame for the sentiment from Spellbinders Labels Thirteen S4-248 Die Set and cut the center of the frame out using Spellbinders Standard Circles Lg S4-114 Die Set. I stamped the frame using a Pretty Floral Scroll Frame Stamp from Justrites Vintage Floral Labels Stamp Set. I popped each piece up using my favorite pop dots from Super Glue Corp.
Once I had all the base Layers popped up, I created a Triple Loop Double Bow with a Back Ribbon using the Bow-it-All. The Bow-it-All makes creating Beautiful Perfect Bows so Quick and Easy. I ran the Back Ribbon through 2 of the holes in my Basic Lattice Die Cut piece and wrapped them around my layer with the Elegant Fronds Backgroud stamped on it. I adhered my Decorative Labels Eight layer with the Bow using more pop dots to give it some dimension. Ohhh I Love dimension… When I finished putting the card top together I added some white pearls from Want 2 Scrap to the Lattice and the Frame.
For the inside of the card, I added a Black and Gray Layer to the inside base. Then I cut a White Layer using Spellbinders Decorative Labels 8 S5-148 Die#3 and layered it behind 3 layers cut from Spellbinders Labels 13 S4-248. On the Top White Labels 13 Layer I stamped the same Floral Scroll Frame Stamp using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad and added a clear embossing powder and heat embossed it to give it a bit of a texture and shine. I added one more layer that I cut using Spellbinders Classic Squares S4-128 Die#3 and stamped it with my inside sentiment using a stamp from Justrite’s stamp set Signs of Life. I stamped a Scroll at the bottom of the sentiment, then I put my die back on the square and sponged a little gray color inside over the sentiment. I removed my die and popped this last layer up using more pop dots. I added some more white pearls to finish off the card. I made an Envelobox Envelope using my Enveloplus from Crafter’s Companion to put the card in. I had so much fun creating this card and hope to get some time this weekend to create some cards for Mother’s Day which is already next weekend. I hope you have a Perfect weekend and spend some time creating.
